Day 1 - El Paso Texas Arrive El Paso and check in at the campground. Meet our staff. Day 2 - El Paso Morning meeting to prepare tourist and vehicle permit documents. Pre-tour check, money exchange and trip briefing coffee and donuts. Day 3 - Chihuahua Caravan through the city of Juarez to Customs and Immigration where we get our visa and vehicle permits than on to Chihuahua City. Dry camping in the university grounds Mexican cook-out Trompo. “Tacos and Salsas”. Day 4 - Touring Chihuahua City Morning tour of the city, including Pancho Villas home, The Cathedral and murals at the State Capitol. Evening dinner and entertainment. Day 5 - Creel Morning drive to Creel, the gate for Tarahumara Indian Country. Full Hook ups. Our staff will feed and walk your pet per your instructions. Day 6 - Batopilas at the Bottom of the Canyon Spectacular van or bus drive to the bottom of the canyon, overnight at small local hotels. Lunch and dinner included. Day 7 - Touring at Batopilas Hiking tour to Satebo, better know as “The Lost Cathedral”. Afternoon, optional horse back riding on own. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Day 8 - Creel Morning drive back up to our campground in Creel. Breakfast and lunch included. Day 9 - La Junta Morning drive to La Junta. This evening dinner party at a local restaurant included. Day 10 - Creel This afternoon we will tour the surrounding area by local bus to meet the Tarahumara Indians, considered to be the most primitive tribe of this continent. Dinner Included. Day 11 - Divisadero. Divisadero “The Lookout point” we will be parked right on the rim. This afternoon we will take a hiking tour along the rim and this evening we will do a cook out dinner on the rim of the canyon. Day 12 - Bahuichivo This morning we will do a bus tour along the rim to the piedra volada “Balancing rock” or just relax and trade with the Tarahumara Indians who will be selling their arts and crafts. About noon our train will continue on to Bahuichivo. And this evening, margarita and snack party, by a bonfire. Day 13 - Los Mochis Today is the longest and the most scenic part of our trip. You will want to keep your cameras and binoculars handy during our descent down to almost sea level. Day 14 - Mazatlan The Resort city of Mazatlan, we will spend five nights. Enjoy fabulous dinning, beautiful beaches, great shopping and gala nightlife. Our campground is only two blocks from the beach and right on the Golden Zone. Day 15 - Touring Mazatlan During the morning we will tour the city of Mazatlan and the afternoon we will do a pot luck dinner at our campground. Day 16 - Tour to Copala Home of the coconut banana cream pie. All day tour to the mountain town of Copala where you will mingle with the natives and see hand carved furniture being made, beautiful pottery and glazed floor tile. Lunch included. Day 17 - Free Day Free day for personal activities... If you are a fishing enthusiast, our staff can arrange a fishing trip for you. Evening Mexican Festive dinner included. (the day of this dinner may vary) Day 18 - Free Day Free day for personal activities. Day 19 - Guasave Today we will drive back to the quaint port city of Guasave where we we will spend three nights. A paradise for shell collectors and bird watchers. Our campground is located right next to the Sea of Cortez for you to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Day 20 - Bird Island Local pangas “skiffs” will take us to the Island of the Birds where we can see many varieties and species of birds. Box lunch will be served on an isolated beach. Day 21 - Guasave Today is free for you to relax and enjoy the miles and miles of beach. Day 22 - Alamos Caravan up to the Colonial town of Alamos. Day 23 - Touring Alamos Alamos is one of those towns in Mexico that you can enjoy walking. Many of its old haciendas have been restored by rich Americans and Canadians. During the afternoon we will visit the Old mining town of “Aduana” and this evening we will be guests of a family from Argentina for a Festive “Chubasco” dinner. Day 24 - Guaymas - San Carlos Our drive today will take us to a beautiful campground located at The Playa de Cortez Hotel. Day 25 - Touring San Carlos and Guaymas This morning we will tour the resort of San Carlos as well as the Port Of Guaymas and we will visit the biggest “pearl farm” in Mexico. Day 26 - Free Day Free day for optional activities, or relaxing enjoying the facilities that our RV Park located by the sea of Cortez has to offer. Evening Farewell Dinner hosted by our staff. Day 27 - Nogales Today we bid adios to our many new friends in Mexico as we cross the border back home... Asta la vista Amigos.
